2012 Mercedes SLK 55 AMG
The Mercedes SLK 55 AMG, which was revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show, is to cost £54,950 in the UK. The 2012 Mercedes SLK AMG 55 was revealed just before the Frankfurt Motor Show, and Mercedes told us it would go on sale in the UK in early 2012. So it’s a good job they’ve finally managed to come up with a price for the new SLK 55 AMG so at least UK buyers will finally know what they’ve got to stump up – £54,950.
Ford has unveiled its Atlas Concept at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The Atlas Concept previews the designs and technologies of future Ford pickup trucks – particularly the F150 – and features a chiseled grille (complete with automatic shutters) and a wide stance designed to emphasize the ‘Built Ford Tough' image. A drop-down front wind spoiler lowers at highway speeds to improve underbody airflow.
The Nissan 370Z Nismo – a titivated and fettled 370Z – has finally arrived for the UK and Europe and will debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Nissan has fettled the 370Z Nismo for European roads and tastes and, although there’s a bit more power, the focus is on driver fun. That means the 370Z Nismo comes only with a six-speed manual gearbox and only as a coupe to keep things nice and stiff and keep the driver involved.
